Therapy & Counseling FAQs in Lancaster County

Dive into commonly asked questions.

Integrate is not in network with my insurance company. Can I still use my insurance benefits?

Yes! Check with your insurance company to see if you have “out of network benefits”. You would pay for your therapy sessions, and then we provide you with a paper (superbill) to submit to your health insurance to request reimbursement.

How long does therapy take to work?

Every client is different, but we like to see a large decrease in client symptoms within 4-10 weeks. We use depression and anxiety inventories to help track this progress with numbers, in addition to the client’s reporting that they’re feeling better overall.

How do I know which therapist is the right fit for me?

Excellent question! Choosing a good fit therapist is crucial to your healing being successful and pleasant. We suggest that you schedule a free consultation call with 2 or 3 therapists whose bios stand out for you and ask them all some questions! A quick 15-minute conversation can share a lot of insight about how you feel towards someone.

I’ve never done therapy, what will it look like?

You can meet with your therapist online or in person. Sessions are between 45-55 minutes long. The therapist will ask you some questions to get to know you and your story. Think of your therapist as an invited guest into your mind- asking you thought provoking questions and offering insight into how your brain works on the daily!
